The Plainfield Park District will celebrate Unplug Illinois Day by travelling back to the stone age with a rock painting event at Mather Woods on Saturday, July 10 from 10a to noon.
Turn off your electronic devices and come paint a rock with some fun artwork and an uplifting message. Then place it somewhere at your favorite park for someone to find.
Bring your creativity and artistic flair. The Park District will provide the rocks, paint, and scenic outdoor location.
This is a free event for the public to celebrate Unplug Illinois Day, a program of the Illinois Park & Recreation Association to promote unplugging for an analog day of play in community parks.
Mather Woods is located at 25032 W. Renwick Rd.
