The Plainfield Park District Board of Commissioners has recognized Mary Kay Ludemann for her decade plus service. Ludemann resigned from the board in October after moving out of the 
District.
Ms. Ludemann was first elected to the Plainfield Park District Board in 2009 and previously served as its president. During her tenure, the District constructed its first recreation facility, the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center (PARC), which opened in 2019.
She also served on the Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD) Board of Trustees, IAPD’s Program Committee, and Illinois Park and Recreation Association Joint Editorial Committee.
