Plainfield Park District Closed Through April 30

Following Governor Pritzker’s recent extension of the Illinois stay at home order, all Plainfield Park District facilities will remain closed until May 4.

All special events have been cancelled through May 31 and programming through may 4.

Parks and open space throughout the Plainfield Park District remain open to residents provided they continue to follow proper social distancing guidelines and do not gather together in groups.

For the safety of the community, and to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, the Park District has closed all playground equipment, athletic courts, dog parks, and bike and skate parks.

Refunds for any cancelled events or programs will be processed automatically.

Because of the constantly changing nature of the pandemic, Park District staff will continue to re-assess the ongoing situation and provide updates for residents as soon as new information becomes available.

Further updates on Park District program changes will also be posted to our website, plfdparks.org, and on our social media channels.

Residents can also sign up for the Park District text hotline for up to the minute news. Text “PPD” to (833) 222-3024.
