The Plainfield Park District recently announced the hiring of Robert Asiamah as the new Information Technology (IT) Manager.
Robert comes to Plainfield after serving as the IT manager at Tmax America the past 11+ years. Tmax is a specialist in the design and manufacture of thermal and acoustic insulation systems for all applications related to high temperatures. In his IT role at Tmax, he was responsible for benchmarking, analyzing, reporting on, and making recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and systems.
Robert also served as human resources manager at Tmax America from 2012-2017. Prior to Tmax America, he was a corporate support specialist at Home Depot RDC in Romeoville (2007-2012).
Robert attained his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Governors State University and his associate’s degree in management information systems from Joliet Junior College. He has also been an Illinois licensed real estate broker since 2007. He resides in Plainfield with his wife and three boys.
