As President of the Plainfield Township Park District Board of Park Commissioners (“Park Board”), I have determined that it is not practical or prudent and not in the best interest of the District and possible attendees to conduct the January 12, 2022 Regular Meeting of the Park Board as an “in-person meeting” due to the rise in metrics related to COVID-19 in the Will County region as well as the concern of the Omicron variant. I hereby direct staff to make alternative arrangements in a manner that will allow any interested member of the public to contemporaneously access, hear and/or view all discussion, testimony and roll call votes via telephone number or web-based link.
