DuPage County River Sweep

Join the Plainfield Park District and Conservation Foundation on this annual river clean-up event that empowers residents to improve local rivers by removing trash from DuPage County waterways.
Since the DuPage County River Sweep was launched in 1991, more than 14,000 volunteers have removed nearly 300 tons of garbage from DuPage County waterways. Volunteers help make our streams and communities more attractive while improving water and shoreline quality for the benefit ofwildlife and recreation. Have fun while getting some exercise and meeting other service-minded individuals.
