Beginner Group Lessons

Ages 8-18
Group lessons are a perfect introduction to horseback riding where participants learn how to prepare a horse for riding and begin to learn the gaits of walk and trot. Riders can choose to ride English or Western style. Instructors assign a horse/pony to students and learning is accomplished through demonstrations as well as hands-on experiences. The first session is non-riding and will teach students how to lead, groom and tack a horse. Students will be notified via email of current class protocols before the start of each session. These classes may be repeated until the basic skills are mastered. There is a $15 fee for make-up lessons.
