Vaccine Clinic May 3 at Plainfield Township Community Center

AMAN, American Muslims Assisting Neighbors, is collaborating with St. Jude Pharmacy, Joliet to offer 100 doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

This is a two-dose vaccination.

The first dose will be offered on Monday May 3, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 5 PM at the Plainfield Township Community Center on 15014 Des Plaines St. in Plainfield.

The second dose will be at the same location on Monday, May 24. Last appointment will be at 4:30 PM.

“People are encouraged to register early as only 100 doses will be available” said Mohammed Faheem, President of AMAN, a Plainfield-based not for profit.

“If the demand exceeds supply, we will try to arrange a second session next month depending on the availability of more vaccine,” he added.

Staff from St. Jude Pharmacy will provide and administer the vaccine. Anyone over 16 years of age are eligible. 16-year-olds will have to bring parental approval.

Insurance is not required but photo identification should be provided when you come.

If you do have insurance, please bring a copy of your card on the day of the event. You must register online at www.amaninc.org.

You only need to register once for both doses. Registration will close at the end of the day on May 1 or when 100 people are registered.
